welcome to the 424!
The premise of the community is very simple. Your character lives in the 424 area code of the Los Angeles County of California and carries a secret. Everyone has seen or visited the postsecret website at least once. Some of those secrets might be made up but most of them are real. So what if some of those secrets came from the lovely 424? Every character will be different as no two people are alike, like snowflakes. This premise has been carried out countless times before but we promise to stick it out, through the rain, the snow and the sunshine, can't forget the sunshine.
The rules for the community are simple. The golden rules or rping still apply: no crossing the ic/occ line and save the drama for your momma. It is still shocking how easily these two simple guidelines are forgotten. What you need to have completed prior to applying is clearly stated in the application post but in regards to usernames and screenname we ask that uns are character name based and that your sn relates to your character in some way (but not like an ooc sn). How you create your icons is no business of ours so we don't care if you happen to fancy your icons bordered five times. Use common sense when playing out your story lines. A baby isn't going to fall out from your gal's vajayjay a week after teh sxe. If your storyline involves an adult matter you do not need prior approval from us. As long as all parties involved are ok with the idea then you are good to go. For being active a post made in your character's journal is required every three weeks; however, if you're active in the sub communities as well as via aim then you will only need to post as an added bonus. Not everyone can come up with an entry so that's why there's other outlets for activity. When applying, in the subject line state what you're favorite tv show is :) If you have any questions what so ever don't hesitate to get in contact with us. How well and how long we survive is dependent on you guys and how we help you out.TAKEN
